Rules for the Black Birder

Drew Lanham is a Professor of Wildlife Ecology at Clemson University. He is a birder, and has advice for anyone who is black and wants to be a birder.

I looked it up, "birder" and "birdwatcher" can be used interchangeably, although serious practitioners prefer "birder" as it connotes more expertise in bird identification.  (via Digg)
