Best of Luck with the Wall



The US-Mexico border is almost 2,000 miles long. Some of it is desert, some mountainous, and a lot of it is riverfront. The river itself causes many of those miles, as it meanders quite a bit. You can't build a wall in the river, and because of geology, you must build one with a substantial setback from a river. A lot of Americans own riverfront property (or live near enough to be affected), and the ones in Texas who have been cut off from the rest of the country by a wall already are not happy about it.
