John Oliver on Journalism



Newspapers are dying due to reduced revenue and competition from the internet. That’s a blow to serious journalism that must be seriously funded. Yeah, we’d still learn the big stuff that happened, but we might never know why or what went on behind the scenes. Stories that aren’t immediately profitable are ignored, and we are all less informed because of it. John Oliver explains on his show Last Week Tonight.
