Dancing in the Eighties

There sure was a lot of dancing in movies back in the 1980s. And it wasn’t just Flashdance, Fame, and Footloose -they all had dance scenes, if for nothing else, to show the happy ending. Master editor Robert Jones put together a supercut of dancing in ‘80s movies to the tune of Lionel Richie’s 1986 hit “Dancing on the Ceiling.” I am almost embarrassed to admit that I’ve seen just about every one of these films. Even the bad ones had some good dance moves. But oh, those fashions! (Thanks, Robert!)
