The First Trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

The first of the promised Disney stand-alone Star Wars films is coming. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story takes place between episodes III and IV, and involves the Rebellion stealing the plans for the Death Star. Yes, the plans that eventually ended up encoded in R2D2.

Disney plans to produce one of these every other year, called the Star Wars Anthology series, to slot in between the continuing story of the Skywalkers. Future films will include biographies of some of the characters we are already familiar with, like Han Solo and Boba Fett. Look for Rogue One in theaters in December. (via Star Wars)
