Rocky Horror vs. Priscilla

Here’s something I never knew existed until today. I never watched The Drew Carey Show because I was busy raising kids. But I might have if I’d known they did stuff like re-enact dance scenes from The Rocky Horror Picture Show and The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.

Sadly, it came to light in a thread about Fox remaking The Rocky Horror Picture Show for TV. This is a bad idea. There’s nothing wrong with the original, even 40 years later, as it’s still playing in theaters. The remake will be done by the director of all three High School Musical movies. And you know they’ll water it down to the point of non-recognition. (via Metafilter)
