Duet

Enjoy this lovely sequence of two babies who grow up and discover each other. It was hand-drawn by Glen Keane, the Disney animator behind the design of The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Tarzan, and Tangled.

The short film Duet contains 10, 055 hand-drawn frames, twice as many as Keane had expected to draw. That’s the difference between an acclaimed animation artist with a pencil and modern video that demands 60 frames per second. The story behind the making of this film is fascinating, and much more geeky than just watching it. (via Buzzfeed)
