Cinematic Table Flips

There are many examples of “turning the tables,” so to speak, in movies. (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ Table flipping signals a transition from a speaking scene to an action scene, the moment when all hell breaks loose. It’s a dramatic effect that turns up over and over because it’s easy to do, it makes a great mess, and it fills the screen. Don’t try this at home, because you’ll have to clean it up! A list of movies used in this supercut by Roman Holiday can be found at the vimeo page. (via Daily Picks and Flicks)
