I'm thinking photoshop.... Military folks don't get deployed for that long at a time, and even if they did, no one would bring a sign like that to the airport. imo
second the first comment. also, the guy is USAF; though I've known some to deploy for a year, the average is 4-6 months (as opposed to the Army, which is a year). Maybe it's in reference to something else?
