Fly American!

A 1933 ad for American Airways. Air travel has changed a lot since then. Even since 1978, the only time I was ever able to travel first class -on another airline that doesn't exist today. According to this film, you can fly across the country in less than a day. Today, it only takes three to four hours nonstop, but you'll have to sit that long with no room to move your knees, and they won't feed you. And if you count parking, security, and finding your luggage, it's only twice that long.
