Louis Le prince's story is worthy of a thriller, the skulduggery at the U.S. patent office, the industrial espionage by Edison's agents, and finally, Louis' disappearance and presumed death, after being seen boarding a train at Dijon, in France, he disappeared forever. This occurred in 1890, he and his invention died before Lumiere and Edison started.
