True story: my dad and I were in a part of a city that I was not familiar with. A stranger drove up and asked directions to someplace. My dad confidently said, "Go two blocks, turn right at the light, go three more lights and it will be on your left." When they left, I remarked that I did not know he knew that city. He grinned and said, "I don't."

ReplyDeleteI'm all for people following their heart and fulfilling a goal, but this does seem like a mean-spirited waste of time even assuming it's a joke.
