Taking that as 'gospel' I state here that you learn something every day. I did not know that a mustard seed will grow into a tree ! Obviously I had a lapse in my bible reading at some point.

Ok, I looked it up, and now I feel dumb. Mustard seeds come from herbaceous plants (Brassica juncea or Sinapis alba), not trees. The "mustard tree" concept originates from biblical parables describing rapid growth—a metaphor, not botany. Actual mustard plants grow 2-8 feet tall as annuals with soft stems, never developing woody trunks.
