I guess there's always a first time, but my cats are all quite used to bats. They are still fascinated by watching them fly around, and one cat is fairly good at catching them. I tried to explain to her that they are a protected species in this state, but she won't listen to me. This comic is from Jimmy Craig at They Can Talk.
I'm not surprised, most cats don't listen, and when they do it's only for their own amusement..
