I Can't Hear You

This was me until a few weeks ago, when I got my hearing aids. Now I hear my clothes making noise, and clock ticking two rooms away. (via Bits and Pieces)

  1. I finally gave in to hearing aids about a year ago. Drove my wife crazy for a few months, constantly asking, "What's that sound?" That sound was the dryer or the refrigerator or the AC going on. Even water flowing through the pipes in the basement seemed strange. I can even hear conversations across the room. Now I am used to them. Shouldn't have waited so long.

  2. I got mine a couple of years ago and they do help but the noisy world we live in keeps me from wearing them full-time.

    1. Been wearing them for five years but still need my headphones for the TV or it has to be loud or if I turn the volume up on the hearing aids some things are blasting. I can't always can't understand everybody especially in a room with walls that let the sound bounce around, especially in a crowded restaurant with people talking.
So I still say "what" a lot
