I fell in love with Joni a dozen times. She is the only one to whom I ever wrote a fan letter. She dated a lot of guys about that time, but none of them were me and she never wrote back. Broke my heart, but now my attitude is, "her loss." :)
Never date a pretty songwriter with gold records. They will leave you for the president of the record company, and their next album will rip your guts out AND go top five.
