This is a vintage ad, or a calling card, or maybe a greeting card, from a sewing machine company. But what is the occasion? Cats walking on their back legs are fairly ubiquitous, if nonsensical. But most of these cats are carrying boughs of holly, while one is sporting an American flag. It sure makes me want to buy a sewing machine! (via Undine)
