Re the article on hospital ER charges:

I had to use a Houston hospital ER last year, in which I waited almost 12 hours for care, finally underwent a procedure that lasted 30 minutes, and unexpectedly had to stay overnight, and then was billed for over $21,000, which Medicare refuses to pay. Imagine my joy.

OK, first of all; are zebras black with white stripes
or white with black stripes? Either way, I always thought
the whole stripe thing was because they didn't want to be
spotted.

Happy Friday Miss C.

I got a bump on my forehead working on my house.
When I went to work the next day my boss told me to go get it
checked out at the local Hospital, They kept me for several days
until I was fed up. I got dressed and waked out. They had the police
basically kidnap me and bring me back. They kept me locked to the bed
with an ankle manacle, and a handcuff. They kept me against my will
for two months until my bank and retirement accounts were drained, then pronounced me cured, and gave me the bum's rush out the door!
And I lost my job, and Insurance.
