Perfect? Here in Kentucky, you are either broiling or freezing, sometimes both within a day or so. But then I remember that the tropics have insects and microbes that can kill you, and your garden won't grow at the poles. The middle latitudes aren't perfect, but it could be worse. Damn straight, I drive a convertible pickup and friends in Canada have put them away for the winter, while friends in Florida and Texas are happy it's now cool enough to put the top down during the day.
