SNL's Blue Wave

This may look like a Saturday Night Live skit, but it is reality. There are way more Democrats than Republicans in the USA, but did that help in 2016? Clinton got three million more votes than Trump in that election. The electoral college screwed us then, and in this election, gerrymandering and voter suppression mean that democrats must turn out with a wide margin in order to narrowly win. My candidate for congress has a 1/100 chance of winning, but I will vote anyway, because there are a lot of down ballot races that will make a difference in the future. Besides, if I didn't vote, I would never forgive myself. Meanwhile, in the next district over, where my kids vote, the congressional race is neck and neck. You better believe they will cast their ballots proudly.

Go vote over there instead, Miss C. They love to whine about fake voter fraud, show them what REAL voter fraud looks like.

Absolutely important. As a percentage, your vote in the the local elections is more significant.

(No, don't attempt an illegal vote in a different district. Sheesh. [eye roll])

I would never dream of voting in the wrong place, even though I'm an old white woman and might get away with it. See, I'm a registered Democrat, and we tend to believe in fair and honest voting, even when it causes us to lose.
