Videotape wasn't exactly new in 1975, but it was a hi-tech newfangled idea to most of us, and technology we don't understand can be scary. In this story, a man is lured into danger by the offer of a job interview, and encounters videotapes that try to murder him! SS Wilson made this short film years before I ever encountered home video. Oh wow,.... I saw this short film once in the early 80s.... I was maybe 5 or 6 and I had nightmares for months afterward....
You might have seen it on HBO. They played this between movies, along with other experimental shorts, to fill time to the top of the hour.
