Persistence of Vision lll

Have you ever seen a cathedral dance? Ismael Sanz-Pena made it happen, by harnessing the frame rate, a rhythmic beat, and one single photograph of Nidaros Cathedral in Trondheim, Norway. If you think the video is moving too slow at the beginning, just give it a few seconds and watch the statues dance. (via Nag on the Lake)

Clever, but, for me at least, it soon gets a bit irritating. I've seen the real thing, it's beautiful and needs nothing added. Check out the round window on The Nidaros Cathedral - the rose window - it's amazing!

Billiant! I love the way the soundtrack captures the tribalism of religion.
