Elmo Gets Fired

Proposed cuts to the federal budget might land some educational TV stars on their ears. It's hard to understand when you've been at the same job for decades… and you're only four years old.
It’s a rough world out there, even for the Sesame Street gang who, through no fault of its own, has stayed in its comfortable bubble for the past 48 years. Now, Ernie might be forced to get a job, Bert might have to start driving for Uber, and the Count might have to actually go back to CPA school.

I just read that Sesame Street is now on HBO. I'm just sick! Parents will have to pay premium prices for their kids to watch it. That's not sad, it's wrong!
