House on a Hill

Lyndel Rhodes is a lifelong musician who’s played harmonica for Willie Nelson’s recording sessions in the past. She wrote the song “House on a Hill,” recorded by Willie Nelson on his latest album. She’s 92 years old now, and this is the first of her songs ever to be recorded. Here she is listening to it on his album for the first time. Her son, Buddy Cannon, recorded her reaction for posterity. He’s also recorded her harmonica music quite a bit. (via reddit)
