It was September 8, 1966. My Dad wanted us to watch this new science fiction show about space travel called Star Trek. I was almost eight years old. We watched it every week after that. Fifty years later, everyone loves Star Trek, the original series, several newer series, over thirty years of movies, and a new series coming up. (via Fark)

I started watching again last night from episode one. Wow! Bones and Sulu look so very young.
I was in juvenile hall (runaway) during ST_TOS first season. The show was televised locally from 8:30-9:30 PM. Juvy shut off the TVs at 9. So I only saw the first half of each show. Sad.
