I've always wondered about the meaning of puttanesca, an adjective used to describe certain Italian dishes. According to http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/puttanesca, it means "in the style of a prostitute," kind of like "prostitute-esque." It appears it would have been better not translated in this context.

Thanks for that, Spellucci. I thought the original might have been "prosciutto," with spellcheck to blame. But a direct machine translation of "puttanesca" makes more sense.
