How to Make a Star Wars BB-8 Cake

Yolanda Gampp showed us how to make a realistic brain cake for Halloween. Now she’s making a cake in the likeness of the new Star Wars droid, BB-8! How does she make it so round, so smooth, so accurate? Gampp reveals some baker’s secrets here that we’ve seen in many art cakes, but could never quite figure out.
