Black Friday: The Movie

If they made a movie about Black Friday shopping, of course it would be a horror film. By this point, I’m starting to believe that Black Friday sales are a tradition people only participate in to create news stories and viral videos. Why would anyone want to do this? My Christmas shopping philosophy has evolved over the years -I never buy any Christmas gift because it’s on sale anymore. I’d personally rather buy something that the receiver needs or wants. That’s completely opposite my philosophy for buying groceries. This movie parody trailer is from Nacho Punch. (via Tastefully Offensive)

If you go out to the mall today, you're sure of a big surprise
If you go out to the mall today, you won’t believe your eyes
Every bargain hunter that ever there was
Will gather there for certain because
Today's the day the stores have Black Friday bargains.

Every coupon clipper who's any good is sure of a treat today
There's lots of marvelous things to buy and put them on layaway
In the back rooms where nobody sees
They'll hide more stock as long as they please
That's the way they manipulate all the shoppers

If you go out to the mall today, you'd better not go alone
There’s bargains out at the mall today, but safer to stay at home
Every bargain hunter that ever there was
Will gather there for certain because
Today's the day the stores have Black Friday bargains.

Fortunately for us, the stores around us do not have violence during Black Friday. This includes the super Walmart.

The Black Friday sales I or my wife have been to may be crowded, but the people are polite.
