The March

The United States Information Agency knew that the August 28, 1963 March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom would be a momentous occasion, and commissioned a film to document it. The rough cut was due only six days after the event, and $50,000 was the budget. The National Archives presents a completely restored version of the documentary, in time for the 50th anniversary of the march and Martin Luther King's "I Have A Dream" speech.
