Rope Swinging in a Canyon

Devin Graham, also known as devinsupertramp, brings us the adventures of a group of extreme cliff jumpers and their 300-foot rope swing. And they did it over and over to make sure they got all the right camera a angles. You can see a behind-the-scenes video with more information. Do not try this! I saw Wile E. Coyote pull this stunt in a film more than once, and it always ended with him slamming face-first into the cliff wall. (Thanks, Dallin Smith!)

...how do they get hauled back up to the top? Maybe the behind the scenes video shows it, but I don't have the patience to watch.

Also, the bow and arrow thing is bogus...now way did he hit a shrub? with the arrow. It makes me suspect of the whole video with a beginning like that.

Well, it's possible he did hit the shrub. But there's nowayinhell that he just trusted that one arrow to hold him as he then jumped out into space. There had to be someone on the other side to pull the rope across and anchor it to something far more secure.

But all the prep work doesn't fit when you're trying to make an extreme thrill video. BORR-RRINGGG! It would be like watching the Mythbusters spend umpteen hours designing and constructing something, like that big 'cow-catcher' on the dump truck — https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4qZTdMOJBk — and then finally getting to see maybe one minute of actual action.
